1. What are the must requirements of hardware and system to use the heart rate band ?
Android devices requirement: Android 4.4 & above and Bluetooth 4.0 smart phones.
IOS devices requirement : IOS 7.1 & above iphone 4s/5/5c/5s/6/6 Plus.
2. Why can not find the device bluetooth name when pairing ?
1). Make sure the band is under enough power.
2). Ensure smart phone Bluetooth is ON.
3). Check if the band had been connected with other smart phone, if yes, the band time mode display would have a Bluetooth icon. If not, then no bluetooth icon. If this problem could not be solved, please contact us.
Note : Please make sure the smart phone and band within 0.5 meter for pairing. 10 meters is safe available distance for Bluetooth device data communication once pair done.
3. Why the band can not be charged ?
The heart rate band is 3 points touch for charging, please kindly aim at the 3 points when charging. Keep the charge clip clean. Charging failure (such as USB port or charge port). Under black screen, short press key when charging, charging progress icon appears. If under time display mode, it would occur charging jack icon to indicate it is charging. If charge still fails, please kindly visit our website and contact our customer service, we will serve best without delay.
4. Why the band suddenly vibrates on wrist ?
The band silent vibrates under the circumstances of pairing / unbind /take photo mode (enter and quit)/ alarm / call alert / sedentary alert, and if smart phone is beyond safe range of 5m with the band device, it would be vibrating for anti-lost alert.
5. What factors affect heart rate test results ?
Not standard way of wearing (such as display toward wrist inner side) would affect hear rate signal measuring, such as the green light not fully cover your skin, arm swing and the slight movement of device on wrist, too tight wearing, raising the arm high and clenching the fist would affect blood circulation and affect the heart rate signal as well. As with all heart-rate tracking technology, whether a chest heart rate belt or a wrist-based sensor, the accuracy is affected by personal physiology, location of wear, and type of movement.
6. Is the LED indication light safe ?
The LED light is safe to the skin, and it belongs to visible spectrum, it is similar with home or office lighting. People rarely allergic to visible light. Besides, LED indicate light come with very low rate of work, it would not do any harm to the skin. Under device crash or not display signal correctly, it would be set power off.
7. What is the heart rate zone ?
Heart rate zones can help you optimize your workout by targeting different training intensities. Your zones are calculated based on a percentage of your estimated maximum heart rate. Fitbit calculates your maximum heart rate with the common formula, 220 minus your age. To quickly determine what zone you’re in, take a look at the following heart icon:
Peak zone, which means your heart rate is 85% of your maximum heart rate or higher, is the high-intensity exercise zone. Peak zone is for short intense sessions that improves performance and speed.
Cardio zone, which means your heart rate is between 70% and 84% of your maximum, is the medium-to-high intensity exercise zone. In this zone you’re pushing yourself but not straining. For most people this is the target exercise zone.
FAT BURNING ZONE
Fat Burning zone, which means your heart rate is between 50% and 69% of your maximum, is the low-to-medium intensity exercise zone and which is a good choice for those new freshers' exercise. It’s called the Fat Burning Zone because a higher percentage of calories are burned from fat, but the total calorie burnt rate is low.
OUT OF ZONE
When you’re out of zone, which means you’re below 50% of your maximum heart rate. Your heart rate may be elevated but not enough to be considered as exercise.
